- Raymond Lee Murray, 48, of 6648 Holcomb Circle, Urbandale, was arrested on a warrant for theft.
- Darrin Clemens Spellman, 24, of 1800 Linden St., Dallas Center, was arrested for driving while barred.
- Joann Wiley of Adel was stopped at the intersection of U.S. Highway 6 and R Avenue when a vehicle driven by Derek Hurford of West Des Moines approached Wiley’s vehicle from the rear and struck the vehicle, causing minor damage to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.
September 21, 2018
- Jose Vasquez Rodriguez of Perry was traveling west in the 17000 block of Iowa Highway 141 Diagonal when he lost control of his vehicle, which began swerving. The vehicle entered the ditch and struck a power pole. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,000. Vasquez Rodriguez was issued a citationfor failure to maintain control.
