- Emily Cantrell of Dallas Center was traveling westbound on Iowa Highway 44 when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Rick Moore of Urbandale, that was traveling northbound on W Ave and failed to yield the right of way. No injuries were reported. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Moore was issued a citation for failing to yield upon entering through highway.
- Angelina Valdez of Madrid was traveling northbound in the 24000 block of W Avenue and failed to stop at the intersection of Iowa Highway 44 and rear-ended a vehicle, driven by Tami Stonebraker of Minburn, which in turn rear-ended a vehicle, driven by Lorraine Shatava of Grimes. Valdez sustained a minor injury. Damage to Valdez’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Damage to Stonebraker’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Shatava’s vehicle was estimated at $1250.
