- Bradley Runge of Des Moines was traveling eastbound on 240th Street when his vehicle was struck from the rear by a vehicle, driven by Dane Steelman of Adel. No injuries were reported. Damage to Runge’s vehicle was estimated at $8,000, and damage to Steelman’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000 in damage.
- Jennifer Defrance, 52, of 29456 Old Portland Road, Adel, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of assault causing bodily injury or mental illness.
