- Garbor Bobek of Bellevue, Nebraska, was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 110 mile marker when his vehicle struck a semi-tractor trailer, driven by Mowlid Jama of Omaha, Nebraska. Jama was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Damage to Bobek’s vehicle was estimated at $17,500, and damage to Jama’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500. Bobek was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
Sept. 24, 2024
- Ronald Jarboe of Minburn was traveling on W Avenue when his vehicle crashed at 190th Street. Jarboe was transported by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Jarboe’s vehicle was estimated at $7,000. Jarboe was issued citations for open container, failure to obey a traffic control device and failure to maintain a reasonable and proper speed.
- A minor driver was traveling on W. Fourth Street in Woodward when the driver’s vehicle struck a vehicle, driven by Luopu Gbelewala of Johnston. Gbelewala was transported by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Gbelewala’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000 damage, and damage to the minor’s vehicle was estimated at $15,400 damage. The minor driver was issued a citation for failure to obey a traffic control device.
- Rodney Raygor of Jefferson was traveling on Iowa Highway 141 near 150th Street when he swerved to miss a deer, and his vehicle entered the ditch and struck a stop sign. Raygor was transported by Dallas County EMS. Damage to his vehicle was estimated at $20.000.
