Sept. 23, 2022

  • Rachel Long, 24, of 404 N. Fifth St., Guthrie Center, was arrested for driving while barred.
  • John Hanagan of Des Moines was traveling eastbound on U.S. Interstate 80 at the 117 mile marker when he exited the interstate and ran the stop sign at the top of the ramp. He proceeded through the intersection to the on ramp, lost control and rolled into the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
  • Brittney Garza, 32, of 1415 Des Moines St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended and on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and issued a citation for driving while suspended.

Sept. 24, 2022

  • Austin Worthington, 25, of 2065 White Pole Road, Casey, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
  • Damon Dillinger, 21, of 623 Fifth St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
  • Emmanuel Cavazos, 37, of 2809 N. Blake St., Harlingen, Texas, was traveling in the 17000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when he lost control, and his vehicle entered the ditch and overturned. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $25, 000. Cavazos was arrested for OWI and issued citations for failure to provide proof of financial liability and failure to maintain control.
  • Chowng Wong, 28, of 1113 Second St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Josephine Doe, 22, of 8925 Cascade Ave., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.

Sept. 25, 2022

  • Jereamy Rice, 44, of 615 S.W. Seventh St., Stuart, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.

Alec Mills, 19, of 4410 142nd St., Urbandale, was arrested for OWI.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
