The whole crew of the Perry Water Works, including Superintendent Hank Schmidt and members of the Perry Water Works Board of Trustees threw a retirement party recently for longtime Perry Water Works employee Dan Ruggle.
Ruggle retires after 32 years with the City of Perry, including the last 22 years at the Perry Water Works. Ruggle worked his first five years as a city employee in the Cemetery Department, followed by five years in the Public Works Department.
The water workers feted Ruggle at a party in the Security Bank Building. Schmidt presented Ruggle with a retirement gift on behalf of the department and the city of Perry.
