Danny Peel, 69, of Perry passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. A graveside service will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry, Iowa, Friday, June 10 at 1:30 p.m.
Danny Robert Peel was born Nov. 7, 1952, in Maywood, California, to Lawrence Edward and Sarah Elizabeth (Keith) Peel.
He attended school at Savanna High School in Anaheim, California.
Danny served in the U.S. Army.
He worked as a clerk at the Casey’s General Store.
Danny enjoyed watching NASCAR and Raiders football.
In death he rejoins his parents, Lawrence and Sarah Peel; son, David Christopher Peel; and a brother, Clarence Wayne Peel.
Left to cherish Danny’s memory are his son, Keith Robert Siegfried of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Leife, Jazlynn and Kollin Siegfried; sister, LaWanda Jean Nepstad of Urbandale; Craig Lavern Peel of Dixon, Missouri; sister-in-law, Jacquelyn Peel; many nieces; nephews; grand-nieces; and grand-nephews.
