The Dallas County Hospital and Family Medicine Clinics in Perry received a donation of personal protective equipment Thursday from the DMACC Perry VanKikr Career Academy.

“The outpouring support we have received at Dallas County Hospital and Family Medicine Clinics is appreciated more than words can express,” the DCH said on its Facebook page Thursday morning. “We cannot thank you enough, DMACC VanKirk Academy, for your continued partnership, support and thoughts during this time!”

Seven of the 179 positive cases of COVID-19 identified in Iowa are in Dallas County. It is unknown whether the victims were or are being treated at the Dallas County Hospital and Family Medicine Clinics, which is a 25-bed critical-access facility.
