Visitation for Delbert D. Ingalls, 88, of Alleman, Iowa, and formerly of Perry will be held Sunday, April 26 from 3-5 p.m. at Murdock Funeral Home in Perry. Visitation will also be held from 9-10:15 a.m. Monday, April 27 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1701 W. Jester Park Dr. in Polk City. The funeral service will be live streamed at Polkcity.church or can be watched on YouTube.
Due to the current state of Iowa restrictions on social gatherings, the funeral home will assist with family and friends entering the funeral home and church in order to comply with current regulations. Funeral and interment will be private.
Delbert passed away Monday, April 20, 2020, at the V.A. Central Health Care in Des Moines, Iowa.
Memorials will be directed in Delbert’s name to Special Olympics and Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and may be sent to Murdock Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at murdockfuneralhome.net
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ingalls of Alleman; son, Terry Ingalls of Ames; daughters, Cheri (Bruce) Strassburg of Tyler, Texas; Lisa (Jim) Hurley of Ames and Melanie (Don) Roberts of Alleman; one sister, Donna Crouse of Dallas Center; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
