Iowa’s major political parties are bearing down on their respective caucuses, scheduled for Monday, Feb. 3.
On the Democrats’ side, the seventh Democratic debate — and the last before the Iowa Caucuses — will be held Tuesday, Jan. 14 at Drake University in Des Moines. Six candidates will take the debate stage: former Vice President Joe Biden, former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, billionaire businessperson Tom Steyer and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
For Republicans, the Women for Trump tour will cross the state Jan. 16-17, and Jan. 30 is the provisional date of a major rally in Des Moines with President Donald Trump.
Early check in for the Feb. 3 Iowa Democratic Caucuses is now available online.
In order to use the early check-in service, you must:
- Be a registered Iowa Democrat
- Provide your email and cell phone number
- Have access to a printer to print your early check-in confirmation
If you are unable to check in early, you should still attend your precinct caucus Feb. 3 no later than 7 p.m. Democrat and Republican precinct caucus locations for Dallas County are listed below.
