Deputy Sheriff Max Roll promoted to rank of sergeant Tuesday

In a ceremony held Tuesday morning at the meeting of the Dallas County Supervisors, Dallas County Sheriff’s Sgt. Max Roll was sworn into the office of sergeant by Dallas County Sheriff Chad Leonard.

After Leonard administered the oath of office, the sergeant’s insignia was pinned on Roll’s collar by his wife, Dallas County Jail Lieutenant Heather Renshaw-Roll.

Additional sheriff’s office figures present for the ceremony were Chief Deputy Doug Lande, Deputy Nick Peterson, Chief Deputy Adam Infante, Sgt. Tom Peterson and Deputy Clay Leonard.
