Friday’s warm and muggy weather is perfect for young fundraiser Diego Diaz, 7, of Perry, who is looking to help buy new playground equipment for the schoolyard at St. Patrick’s School in Perry.
Sales were brisk around midday, according to Diego’s father, Eddie Diaz, history instructor at Perry High School.
Diego got some help from his cousin, Vivian Gonzalez, 15, a youngster named Quinn, 3, and others in the neighborhood of 16th and Park streets in Perry, where the lemonade sales continue.
