Wednesday, Dec. 4 will see the senior fellowship meals resume at the McCreary Community Building, with former Perry superintendent of schools and Christian songster Doc McCaulley playing a selection of musical favorites at 11:05 a.m.
The noon meal in the gymnasium will follow the music in the theater.
The popular Wednesday Fellowship meals will continue Dec. 11 and Dec. 18 at noon and resume Jan. 8 following the holidays.
The Perry Lutheran Homes stepped up to in August to partner with the city of Perry in providing the weekly meals, but state licensing regulations delayed the start of the program.
McCaulley has been bringing his Christian music ministry to churches, prisons and schools across Iowa since 2017.
