A domestic disturbance in the 900 block of Central Street in Perry shortly after 6 p.m. Friday issued in the arrest of a combative suspect who was tasered by an officer of the Perry Police Department.
The tasered person was examined at the scene by Dallas County EMS paramedics before he was transported to the Dallas County Hospital for further treatment.
Officers responded when a caller to the Perry Police Department reported that people were screaming and fighting outdoors.
The circumstances of the physical altercation, involving two or three disputants and four or five witnesses, are under investigation at this hour.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s office responded to assist.
