Satellite voting comes to the McCreary Community Building at 1800 Pattee St. in Perry Thursday, Oct. 15 from 2-8 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 16 from 2-8 p.m., and Doug Emhoff, husband of Kamala Harris, will visit Perry in the mid-afternoon Friday.
Emhoff will greet local voters in order to fire up supporters and volunteers as the Biden-Harris campaign heads into the final stretch.
“Grab your mask and get ready,” said Perry-Area Democrats Director Monica Peitz. “We want to see your excitement to elect great Democrats up and down the ticket here in Iowa! Doug’s team will be following social-distancing and mask requirements — you know, keeping it safe!”
This will be an outdoor event, so attendees should dress accordingly. Social distancing policies will be followed that are required by the campaign for in-person events.
