Douglas L. Bingaman of Athens, Tennessee

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Douglas L. Bingaman, 49, of Athens, Tennessee, passed away suddenly Aug. 28, 2021.

He was a loving son, brother, father and friend to many.

Doug will be missed daily by his father, Terry Bingaman; brother, Thomas; sister, Teri; his wife, Bria; daughter, Kirsten; niece, Taylor; nephew, Brandon; and many aunts; uncles; cousins; and friends who love him more than words can express.

We know Doug is now with his mother, Rose; aunt, Ruth; and grandparents; Richard and Leonora Rothmeyer and Ray and Louise Sattler.

Doug was born in Beloit, Wisconsin, on Sept. 24, 1971, to Terry and Rose. He was the youngest of three children, which he would use to his advantage many times.

Doug loved learning and said many times that he would continually be in school if he could. He started his in education at Milliken University in Decatur, Illinois After moving to Wisconsin, he transferred to the University of Wisconsin Waukesha, where he obtained his associates of science.

He then continued his education at University of Wisconsin, where he received his bachelor’s degree in finance and business.

After a brief hiatus to start a family, he returned to school at Alberto College in Milwaukee, obtaining his Master of Business Administration degree.
