Perry-area voters will have the opportunity next week to meet Dr. Jill Biden, the wife of former U.S. vice president and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
Dr. Biden will come to Perry for a meet-and-greet event Sunday, Dec. 1 from 3:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at La Poste at 1219 Warford St.
“This should be a great opportunity for participants to get to know the future First Lady and hear why Joe is a great candidate,” said Jullian Duran, field organizer for the Biden election campaign.
