Driver sought of pickup crashing into Minburn timber Sunday

A man was injured early Sunday when the pickup truck in which he was a passenger left the roadway on Minburn's east side and crashed into timber.

A man was injured early Sunday when the pickup truck in which he was a passenger left the roadway on Minburn’s east side and crashed into timber.

The 28-year-old Minburn man was treated at the scene for a facial wound by the Dallas County EMS.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s office is investigating the mishap and seeking the vehicle’s driver, who apparently left the scene of the accident.

The pickup left the roadway about 1 a.m. at the intersection of 195th and Second streets in Minburn and came to rest about 10 yards down in the wooded ditch.

The Minburn Volunteer Fire Department also responded.
