Earl Daniels of Perry marked his 100th birthday with a party Saturday afternoon at the Rowley Masonic Community in Perry.

Earl was born and raised near Linden. After serving in the U.S. Army during World War II, he returned to the area and farmed near Redfield. After retirement, he and his wife, Evelyn, moved to Perry, and he has lived in Perry since then.

Saturday’s party at the Rowley brought many family, friends and well wishers, including Earl’s baby brother, Paul Daniels, who will turn 95 on Christmas Eve. The birthday cake for Earl Daniels’ 100th birthday party recalled his days as a World War II navigation trainer.
