The Perry Hy-Vee got a surprise, pre-event visit from the Easter Bunny Saturday. Like a hopeful presidential candidate with an eye on the caucuses, the bunny made himself available for photo-ops and gave away free goodies to his supporters. Kids decorated Easter cookies and joined in an egg coloring hunt and went away with an Easter bag for all their goodies.
The small Bunny had to hop up on a chair to pose with Perry Hy-Vee Store Director Darin Schoop. The bunny will return on Easter Sunday for brunch at the Perry Hy-Vee after first visiting Wiese Park for an Easter Egg hunt at 10 a.m.
