Funeral services for Emilio Calderon Navarro, 62, of Perry will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 2 at Violet Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Father Luis Mejia of St. Patrick Catholic Church officiating. Because of COVID-19 regulations, masks and social distancing will be required. Drive-by visitation with viewing will be Monday, June 1 from 4-7 p.m. in the Hastings Funeral Home parking lot at 1417 Second St. in Perry.
Emilio died Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
Among his survivors is his son, Elias (Evalyn) Navarro of Perry.
Memorials in Emilio’s name may be left at the funeral home.
