Saturday’s weather forecast calling for temperatures around the freezing mark under partly sunny skies and a southerly breeze of about 10 mph for the start of the 46th annual BRR Bike Ride to Rippey.
The annual 24-mile round-trip bike ride from Perry to Rippey, sponsored by the Perry Chamber of Commerce, rolls on regardless of the weather, attracting riders and their guests from around Iowa and across the U.S.
The BRR Ride is a family-friendly event that includes prizes and entertainment. Registration includes the 46th annual BRR T-shirt and much other swag, plus free sag wagon and support services.
A hot chocolate pit stop will fortify riders at the halfway point to Rippey, and a wide variety of warm comforts await riders in Rippey. After-ride entertainment will be found at various venues around Perry going into Saturday evening.
