The Fairview Methodist Church will host a Memorial Day service on Monday, May 30 at 9 a.m. at 2162 Deer Ave. in rural Boone County.
The Rev. Cat Stokes will deliver a message in honor of deceased member of the U.S. military. Scout Troop 127 will present the flag, and the Rippey American Legion will salute with firearms in the church cemetery.
Refreshments will be served in the church basement following the services.
