Faith Ann West of Lakeville, Minnesota, walked into the arms of Jesus her Savior on July 27, 2024, at the age of 69.
She was born on Feb. 9, 1955, in Perry, Iowa where she grew up.
Faith graduated from Perry High School in 1973 and earned her associate’s degree in business.
She worked for Hennepin and Dakota counties for 43 years as a court reporter.
Faith was actively involved and gave generously to the River Valley Church and enjoyed traveling, gardening and bicycling.
Faith is preceded in death by her parents, Sanford and Elaine (Overton) West.
She is survived by Bill Sherry of Apple Valley, her former spouse; her two children, Tim (Jill) Sherry of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and Talia (Cameron) Hayes of Woodbury, Minnesota; one grandson, Luke, who was her pride and joy; her siblings, Joyce (Dave) Luke of Woodward, Dale (Deb) West of Perry and John (Teresa) West of Carrollton, Texas.
The family would like to thank her dear and faithful friends and Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul for the care and compassion they showed Faith in her final days on this earth.
Family and friends are invited to attend a service and Celebration of Life at the River Valley Church, 14898 Energy Way, Apple Valley, Minnesota, on Friday, Aug. 30 at 2:30 p.m. Burial will take place at the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry, Iowa, at a later date.
