Between the Perry Chamber of Commerce’s Big Boom Bracket Battle and other successful fundraising efforts, the $12,500 raised for the 2020 Perry Fourth of July fireworks exploded in a 30-minute blaze of glory Saturday, with every public big boom at Pattee Park answered by hundreds of private detonations in private driveways and backyards in and around Perry.
“A big big thank you to all who donated – big and small – to Perry’s 4th of July Fireworks Drive!” said a grateful Pasutti. “In just three very short weeks, you made it possible to carry on this tradition, despite everything else!”
We all need to realize that Perry always steps up to the plate and hits a home run! The fireworks were wonderful! Thanks to all people of Perry!
