A collision involving a dump truck and another vehicle on the northbound lanes of Iowa Highway 141 north of Grimes has caused one fatality and led to the closure of the road.
A detour has been established and is routing northbound traffic into Grimes and then north to Granger before rejoining Highway 141.
The Iowa State Patrol, Dallas County Sheriff, Polk County Sheriff and police agencies from Grimes, Polk City and Johnston were among those responding to the crash.
