Once a year for two hours, the Perry Public Library hosts a free document-shredding event for Perry residents. This year’s shred event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Anyone with documents to shred is invited to bring them to the Railroad Street side of the library at 1101 Willis Ave. for on-site shredding.
The library’s free document shredding is a cost-free way to protect your personal information and discard sensitive matter in a safe, secure way — all for free. There is no charge for the service, but donations will be accepted.
The annual shredding event is sponsored by the city of Perry and the Perry Public Library.
