Officers of the Perry Police Department and firefighters with the Perry Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported fire about 11 a.m. Saturday in a vacant farm implement shop at 2735 Willis Ave.

There were no injuries in the blaze, which was extinguished by the time emergency personnel arrived on the scene.

The nature and cause of the fire, which appeared to involve an overhead door, is under investigation at this hour.

The property, formerly owned and operated by Rosene International Inc., is currently owned by Walter and Theresea Jacobsen, according to county records.
