The first two Golden Easter Eggs were found in their hiding places Sunday and Monday, according to local Perry philanthropist Juan Meraz, who organized the egg hunt.
Each of the four eggs holds $100.
“I do have two more eggs left that will be hidden before April 3,” Meraz said. “They should be hidden by Friday evening.”
Meraz said he was grateful to his sponsors, including Casa de Oro, Torres Painting and Quality Auto and Body in Perry and Karma Entertainment, El Uli Shauuu and Usuluteco Salvadoran Restaurant in Des Moines.
