Four deaths, 534 new COVID-19 cases reported Monday

DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) was notified Monday of four deaths from COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 188. An additional 534 positive cases for a total of 9,703 positive cases were reported, including 578 cases in Dallas County.

According to IDPH, the additional nine deaths were reported in the following counties:

Appanoose County, 1 older adult (61-80)
Jasper County. 1 older adult (61-80)
Poweshiek County, 1 elderly adult (81+ years)
Wapello , 1 older adult (61-80 years)
