Woodward-Granger will take to the gridiron for the first time this season when they host Madrid August 28.

WOODWARD — Seniors Bryce Achenbach, Reese Jamison and Tate Lettow were joined by junior Kris Kammerer in earning All-State grid honors from the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association. Lettow finished fifth in 1A with 1,437 yards on 225 hauls, total which helped secure a Third Team spot. He scored 17 points on the ground and was responsible for converting seven two-point conversions.

Also picked for the Third Team was linebacker Jamison. He led the team with 83.5 tackles, of which seven were for a loss of yardage. Jamison made two sacks and recovered a pair of opponent fumbles.
