Four students in the Adel-De Soto-Minburn Community School District tested positive since Jan. 21 for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, according to communications from ADM Superintendent Greg Dufoe.

Two students at the De Soto Intermediate School and two students at the ADM High School student tested positive on Thursday and Friday.

In addition, 26 other persons were quarantined as close contacts of the infected students.

The ADM Community School District had about 1,900 students enrolled in 2019, with about 500 in the high school. The district’s ongoing virus-mitigation strategies can be reviewed on the ADM dashboard.
