Holiday merriment will be evident November 28 when the Perry Booster Club hosts the fourth annual Tinset Trot 5K Fun Run, which will begin at Raccoon Valley Bank.
Registration for the event will begin at 10 a.m. with the “race” to begin at 10:30 a.m. All levels of participants are welcome, and themed teams have been commonplace in past Tinsel Trots.
Outlandish (some might say “garish”) holiday outfits and accessories are welcome, there being no judgment in regards sartorial eloquence.
Photo opportunities with both Santa Claus and the Perry Bluejay will be available.
Registration is $30 for adults and $20 for students and include a long-sleeve t-shirt. To reserve a shirt entrants are asked to register prior to Nov. 18. Online registration is now open.
Electronic registration is available on Facebook at PerryBooster, with forms also available at Perry High School, Perry Middle School, The Perry Chamber of Commerce, McCreary Community Building, Snap Fitness, Perry Perk, and Raccoon Valley Bank.
