Trish Roberts, left, and Denise Levan, owners of Perry Floral, decided to "petal" it forward Wednesday by giving away buckets of free bouquets -- their way to let locals know they are soon to open a downtown outlet for their goods at 1215 Second St.

Lisa Anderson, left, and Jhoselyn Quevedo, office associates at the Eyecare Associates in downtown Perry, smiled to see the free bouquets from Perry Floral Wednesday afternoon.

The owners of Perry Floral decided to pay it forward — that is, “petal” it forward — Wednesday by giving away buckets of bouquets as a way to let locals know they are soon to open a downtown outlet for their goods.

Perry Floral’s Trish Roberts and Denise Levan brought smiles to faces at the Perry schools and at many local businesses with their petal-it-forward plan. They said they will be set up and operating at 1215 Second St. in downtown Perry before the end of the year.

“Thank you,” said Jhoselyn Quevedo at the Eyecare Associates when Roberts presented her with a bouquet.

Levan said the Perry Floral greenhouse at 1620 Pattee St. will still produce its wealth of plants, with the Second Street outlet offering a new and convenient spot to shop for their floral arrangements and gifts.

The commercial space at 1215 Second St. in Perry will soon be downtown outlet of Perry Floral.
