Garnita Withem, 77, of Perry passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the Rowley Masonic Community in Perry, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 25 at 10:30 a.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 24 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Elmwood Cemetery in Minburn.

Garnita Jean Withem was born May 22, 1940, in Guthrie Center, Iowa, to Henry and Alberta (Truax) Jaschke.
She attended school at Yale High School with the class of 1958.
Garnita was united in marriage to Norman Ray Wooldridge Nov. 5, 1960. She later married Bill Harold Withem.
She operated her own beauty shop in Guthrie Center and then went to work at the Woodward Resource Center in the housekeeping department.
Garnita was a member of the Moose Lodge in Perry. She enjoyed bowling, sewing and crocheting.
In death she rejoins her husband, Bill Withem; parents, Henry and Alberta Jaschke; and her brothers, Eugene and Terry Jaschke.
Left to cherish Garnita’s memory are her son, Ron (Kellie) Wooldridge of Jefferson; daughter, Janice Wooldridge of Marshalltown; step-daughter, Julie (Randy) Scott of Minburn; step-son, Jeff Withem of Minburn; grandchildren, Mike Wooldridge, Paige Stevens, Nate Woods, Nicolas Woods, Tiffani Woods, Travis Merical and Preston Merical; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
