No injuries were reported.

The odor of natural gas was very plain to sense in the 1600 block of Willis Avenue shortly after 4:30 p.m., where officers of the Perry Police Department and Perry Volunteer Fire Department responded to the leakage and evacuated the immediate area.

The gas utility was notified and is said to be responding, according to public safety radio traffic.
