Hastings Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of arrangements for George Henry “Sonny” Moore, 84, of Perry. Sonny Moore died Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.
Viewing and visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry, with his family present from 5-8 p.m. for a Celebration of his Life. Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery.
George “Sonny” is survived by his wife, Donna Moore; children, Linda (Jim) Hein of Perry, Connie (Gerry) Magner of Perry and Jeff (Sue) Moore of Boone; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Hamman of Perry; brothers, Keith (Gay) Moore of Ogden and Paul (Pauline) Moore of Perry.
Memorials in his name may be left at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry.
