Gladys Reves, 98, of Perry passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016, at the Perry Lutheran Home in Perry.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 27 at 11 a.m. at the Washington Chapel Church of Christ, 21999 K. Ave. in Minburn. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 27, from 10 a.m. at the Washington Chapel Church of Christ until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery at Minburn.

Memorials will be given to Washington Chapel Church of Christ or the Perry Lutheran Home and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent at www.carrisfuneralhome.com.

Gladys Dorothy Reves was born Sept. 6, 1917, at Minburn to Clarence and Ellen (Faber) Harrison.

She attended school at Washington Township School near Minburn.

She was united in marriage to Earle Reves at her parent’s home Dec. 20, 1938.

She worked on the farm with Earle.

She was a member of the Washington Chapel Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School. She was also a member of the Farm Bureau Women’s Club.

Gladys enjoyed baking gingerbread cookies and giving them away to friends and making homemade noodles, angel food cakes and pies.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earle Reves; and a brother, Virgil Harrison.

She is survived by her sons, Roger (Judy) Reves of Crossett, Ark., and Billy (Janis) Reves of Rogers, Ark.; grandchildren, Cindy (Dwayne Ambrose) Reves of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Nancy (Paul) Reves Schwartz of Crossett Ark.; and her great-grandchildren, Allison and Christina Schwartz of Crossett, Ark.
