If smiles and laughter are any judge, the first Spring Fling held by St. Patrick’s Catholic School Friday was a big success. The fun began at 6 p.m. and lasted just over two hours.
Held at La Poste, the event was sponsored by the St. Patrick’s Student Lighthouse and Ambassador’s. The leadership groups helped organize a series of games and activities and a BBQ sandwich dinner.
A photo booth with plenty of props was also available, and the eighth grade students held a bake sale to help raise funds for their class trip.
The primary attraction was a dance, and rather than simply have a Daddy-Daughter event, the students opted to add to the occasion by including Mother-Son and Grandparent-Grandchild pairings as well.
