  • A deputy investigated a theft in the 1400 block of 290th Street.
  • A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on Neola Avenue near 330th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a truancy complaint in the 600 block of S. 15th Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a suspicious person on the square.
  • A deputy investigated a trespass complaint on Kirkwood Avenue near 230th Street.
  • A deputy investigated an alarm in the 2000 block of U Avenue.
  • The sheriff investigated an alarm in the 1400 block of 130th Street.
  • A deputy investigated an assault in the 1700 block of F Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a driving complaint in Scranton and arrested Kole Higgins, 24, of Scranton on a warrant to serve a sentence.
  • A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on U Avenue near 120th Street.
  • Kole Higgins, 24, of Scranton was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.
  • Richard Norton, 39, of Jefferson was booked into the jail for fifth-degree theft and failure to appear.

  • A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with trying to locate a vehicle.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious person at Spring Lake.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 1800 block of P Avenue.

May 12, 2019

  • A deputy investigated a domestic in the 600 block of North Street in Churdan. Joshua LaClair, 34, of Churdan was arrested for second-offense domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury.
  • Joshua LaClair, 34, of Churdan was booked into the jail for second-offense domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury.
  • A deputy investigated a truancy complaint in the 600 block of E. Hager Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a driving complaint near 305th Street and S Avenue.
  • A deputy conducted a traffic stop on E Avenue near 140th Street. William Becker, 60, of Paton was arrested for second-offense OWI.
  • William Becker, 60, of Paton was booked into the jail for second-offense OWI.
