November 15, 2019

  • A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near X Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near U Avenue.
  • The Greene County Sheriff, a deputy, the Greene County Ambulance and Grand Junction Rescue responded to a medical call in the 400 block of N. 16th Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy, Grand Junction Fire and Paton Fire responded to a tractor fire in on 170th Street near W Avenue. The tractor was a total loss.
  • A deputy and Scranton Fire responded to a car fire on 290th Street and C Avenue. The 1997 Buick Regal was a total loss. The trailer that the car was loaded into was also severely damaged.
  • A deputy and Jefferson Fire department responded to a structure fire in the 900 block of 200th Street. The small out building was a total loss.
  • A deputy stopped a vehicle on 220th Street for 78-mph in a 55-mph zone. Zachary Flinn, 26, of Rippey was arrested for operating without a interlock device. Flinn was booked into the Greene County Jail.
  • A deputy investigated a domestic in the 1200 block of C Avenue.

November 16, 2019

  • A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 130th Street near A Avenue.
  • A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a medical call in the 200 block of E. Clark Street in Jefferson.
  • Katie Schafer, 35, of West Des Moines was booked into the jail for first-offense possession of a controlled substance.
  • A deputy assisted with catching dogs running at large in the 400 block of Percival Street in Rippey.
  • A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 17th Street in Grand Junction.
  • The Greene County Sheriff’s office conducted a search warrant for illegal narcotics in the 800 block of Percival Street in Grand Junction. Suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located.
  • Angela Beem, 48, of no fixed abode was booked into the jail for two probation violations.
  • Richard Tuhn Jr., 41, of Jefferson was booked into the jail for first-degree burglary and assault causing injury.

November 17, 2019

  • A deputy investigated a complaint of cattle out on 235th Street near J Avenue. The cattle were found to be in a fence that was hard to see from the roadway.
  • A deputy investigated a theft in the 100 block of E. Hager Street in Grand Junction.
