The Newbury Living management team hosted this month’s Chamber coffee Friday morning at the Hamlin-Bell Apartments at 2023 Willis Ave.
Brenda Espinoza, Newbury Living manager of both the Hamlin-Bell and Willis Avenue apartments in Perry, welcomed about a dozen Perry Chamber of Commerce members with fresh fruit, sweet rolls and coffee — and conversation.
With the help of several residents, Espinoza outlined some recent homey improvements made around the 36-unit complex, including a patio with barbecue on the north side of the building and a residents’ garden on the southeast side.
The $7 million Hamlin-Bell Apartments opened in 2017. The units are open to residents 55 years of age and older, but the complex is currently fully occupied, Espinoza said.
