Perry High School senior Hannah Peterson was recognized Thursday as the Perry Kiwanis Club Student of the Month for September 2019.
“Hannah has consistently grown as a leader during her four years at Perry High School,” said Perry Kiwanis Club President Jeremy Winter in presenting Peterson with a certificate of recognition.
Peterson excels academically, named a DMACC Dean’s List honoree for spring 2019, and she is a Jayette letter winner in cross country, soccer and basketball.
“Hannah demonstrates the Bluejay Way in striving to be the best version of herself while serving others,” Winter said. “Hannah leads by example. Her actions are inclusive, as she is often connecting with teammates and staff. Congratulations, Hannah, on being the September Kiwanis Student of the Month!”
