WOODWARD — Four members of the Woodward-Granger volleyball team recently earned All-WCC First Team honors, with two others tabbed for the Honorable Mention list.

Junior Olivia McCune was the lone unanimous First Team pick in the league. She was joined by fellow Hawk juniors Mary Hansen and Bree Lesch on the First Team, with junior Kara Bodensteiner named as the First Team libero player.

Sophomores Julie Pitman and Kaycee Major were both named to the Honorable Mention squad, with Meg Jackson chosen as Coach of the Year.

W-G finished 29-9 overall and were 8-0 in WCC play for the second consecutive year in once again claiming the league title. The team has won four of the last five WCC crowns and is 40-2 in those five years. The Hawks are 16-0 in the past two seasons of WCC and have lost a total of one set over the stretch.
