Amy Jo Bahtagic, 27, of 619 Fifth St., Perry, was arrested on a Polk County warrant for two counts of assault causing bodily injury or mental illness.

The collision occurred about 1 a.m. in the 1400 block of Evelyn Street. Almin Bahtagic was traveling eastward on Evelyn Street in a 2008 Infiniti when his vehicle struck a legally parked 2014 Honda Odyssey. The force of the impact pushed the Honda into a second parked vehicle, a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country van.

Air bags were deployed in the collision, and Bahtagic sustained a laceration to the forehead. He was treated at the Perry Police Department by the Dallas County EMS.

The Perry Volunteer Fire Department was paged to control fluids on the roadway that were spilled in the collision.

Almin Bahtagic is held in the Perry Police Department holding cell.

Amy Jo Bahtagic is held in the Polk County Jail on a $2,000 cash or surety bond.
