The Christ Lutheran Church of rural Bouton recently held its ninth annual Honor and Praise Concert, followed by its famous ham ball dinner.
Musical performers included the vocal sextet Grace Alone, which is composed of Terri Cooper, Shelly Golightly, Karen Menz, Karen Schulteis, Sue Schulteis and Connie Sheehy, with Jenni Schulteis on piano.
The Christ Lutheran Church Choir also performed, under the direction of Karen Menz. Linda Tingwald was the accompanist.
Vocal soloists included Eileen Clausen, who sang “Take My Hand, Precious Lord” and “My Tribute.” She was accompanied by Marlene Miller.
Eily Mickelson performed a stirring rendition of “Ave Maria,” and Dave Menz sang “With Every Act of Love.”
