The Hotel Pattee in Perry is the latest member to be inducted into the BedandBreakfast.com Diamond Collection, an honor the website reserves for premier inns offering extensive amenities and top-rated guest reviews. The Hotel Pattee is the only inn in Iowa to receive the distinction.
“To say the least, we are excited to be a part of the Diamond Collection” said Jay Hartz, who recently marked two years as owner and operator of the Hotel Pattee. “We are more than proud to be one of about 500 Diamond Properties, which is in the top 1 percent of the inn’s represented in the portfolio. We are also one of the few that are full service, offering a restaurant, lounge and meeting space.”
Launched in 2009, the Diamond Collection helps travelers streamline their search for the country’s best inns. According to BedandBreakfast.com, in order to qualify for membership in the exclusive set, inns and bed and breakfasts must pass a comprehensive professional inspection measuring the property’s quality, service, hospitality, accommodations, food and amenities, such as private baths, free Internet service, luxury appointments, professional staffing and flexible check-in and check-out times.
Diamond Collection members “must consistently maintain top guest ratings and reviews on BedandBreakfast.com and offer a professional reservation experience, including extensive property photos and online reservations,” according to the company’s website.
“Vacation time is a valuable commodity these days” said Matt Laessig, general manager of BedandBreakfast.com. “When planning a getaway, travelers want the assurance of knowing that they’ll be staying at a B and B or inn that meets the highest standards. Hotel Pattee is a perfect addition to this group of premier inns.”
