Wednesday began with a bang for some local motorists when their vehicles collided just before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Willis Avenue and 16th Street.
No injuries were reported in the accident, which involved a passenger sedan and an SUV.
The circumstances of the collision are under investigation at this hour by officers of the Perry Police Department.
Local traffic is being rerouted to sides streets until the intersecton is cleared.
