Eighth Street was briefly closed north of Park Street in Violet Hill Cemetery Sunday night after a limb broke from a tree and blocked the roadway.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
The obstruction was discovered about 9 p.m. by an officer of the Perry Police Department.
The cause of the breakage is unknown at this hour but is presumed an act of God.
The Perry Public Works Department was paged and responded and cleared the roadway.
