One or more people were injured when a pickup truck and SUV collided shortly before noon Monday in rural Boone County.
The number and extent of injuries are unknown at this hour.
Both vehicles came to rest on the northeast side of the intersection of 310th Street and G Avenue in Boone County.
At least four persons were trapped in one of the vehicles, and the Perry Volunteer Fire Department responded with the jaws of life, according to public safety radio traffic.
The Boone County Sheriff’s office, Perry Police Department, Perry First Responders, Boone County EMS and Dallas County EMS also responded.
